Road Trip Surfing Smiles to La Saladita, Guerrero

With the support of many we managed to do the first road trip in April of this year. Our road trip program

The idea of a trip to impact more PwD was born in 2021 as a new format to reach places that are difficult to access and comes from the spirit of exploration and freedom that characterizes a surfer.

The road trip is made up of a number of selected sports clinics in selected coastal cities for 10 to 15 days. It travels in the foundation's van and is made up of a team of 8 people (coordinator, instructors and cameraman).

On April 22 and 23 we were part of possibly the best international longboard tournament in Mexico, the Mexilog Fest which received more than 130 participants from all over the world in one of the most famous beaches in our country to run endless left waves, La Saladita, Guerrero.

In partnership with the foundation Therasurfing from Malibu, CA. 10 Californian instructors went down to Mexican beaches to give smiles to the elderly and young people with disabilities ♿ from the towns of La Unión and the city of Zihuatanejo. In the end, we were able to carry out 2 surf clinics, impacting 50 n@iños and j@venes, achieving new opportunities and helping them break down their limiting beliefs.

We hope next year to be back on those beaches having fun and sharing what we are passionate about!
