He is the creator of projects such as the Acapulco Pro Surf Open, Shapers Room México and Surf Film Festival Mx. He is also part of the team that created concepts such as the MexiLog Fest and Surfeando Sonrisas.

Currently concerned about the social and environmental problems of our times, he decides to put his energy into projects that positively impact children in low-income communities, this is how *Conscious Waves* was born. The goal is to bring environmental awareness, personal respect, and surfboards to these communities.

Arturo lives in Arcata, California, 6 hours from Sacramento. He is the father of Roka and the husband of Kinu. They form an adventurous family but with values deeply rooted in union, coexistence and care for the planet.
