Hoteles City, the new ally of Surfeando Sonrisas

In February of this year, Fundación Surfeando Sonrisas began a great alliance with the hotel chain, City Hotels. It is a Mexico-based company that was founded in 2002.

They operate more than 150 hotels under various formats and brands, such as City Express (its flagship brand), City Express Plus (high segment brand), City Express Suites (extended stay brand), City Express Junior (economic segment brand) and City Centro (brand for leisure travelers). Its operation is focused on Mexico but it is also present in Colombia, Chile and Costa Rica.

This alliance will allow us to have access to accommodation for our staff in several cities where the foundation has an impact, allowing us to generate savings and be able to invest with those savings in other areas to continue strengthening the programs. 

In addition to that we will begin to fulfill the dreams of children and young people with disabilities ♿ who do not live in coastal cities so that they can live the experience of a surf clinic 🏄🏽.

Within its ESG policies, Hoteles City focuses on 3 main pillars to impact the SDGs of the 2030 agenda:

• environmental conservation
• Creation of economic value, and
• Contribution to social welfare

And it is in this last pillar that support Inclusion & Diversity, Training and Development and Alliances with high-impact Organizations where our foundation was analyzed and approved to be supported.
