This is how the tickle of offering the experience of surfing to People with Disabilities (PcD) began.

In 2013, a good friend of the Surfeando Sonrisas family, Arturo Tamayo, invited our founder to be part of eldesurf.com, a blog with the purpose of simply sharing videos and information with friends, after a year eldesurf.com evolved and becomes the producer of the Acapulco Pro event, a national open surf tournament that took place in 2014, 2015 and 2016. In those years, Arturo planted the idea for Daniel to create a foundation that promotes Para Surfing and other values. However, he only stayed with that idea.
Our history
In March 2018,
Diego Lombera appears out of nowhere at the Surf Film Festival CDMX, a festival that brings together the community that has a similar taste for outdoor activities in order to promote sports, nature, art and culture of the environment.
Daniel was at that festival and without hesitation, Diego introduced himself to him and told him that he wanted to do something for PwD ♿ since he had had some experiences in his family and he is also a lover of nature and outdoor activities.
Our founder could not ignore so many signs and I take advantage of the impulse of Diego and other people to finally materialize and realize the long-awaited dream of having a Para Surf clinic in Acapulco for the first time in June 2018.
Today the foundation is based in Guadalajara, Jalisco
