Waves of change: the August 23rd clinic in Playa Villa Varadero promotes inclusion with a cause
The most recent Para Surf clinic organized by the Surfing Smiles Foundation, held at Villa Varadero Beach in Nuevo Nayarit, once again demonstrated how sport and inclusion can transform lives. Organized by the Surfing Smiles Foundation, the August 23rd clinic brought together a large number of participants, including families, volunteers, and instructors, who enjoyed a vibrant and empowering experience on the waves of Villa Varadero.
Thanks to the support of strategic partners and dedicated volunteers, we were able to guarantee specialized equipment and individualized support for each participant. This clinic is part of our program dedicated to the development of children and young people with physical disabilities through water sports, with the goal of fostering confidence, mobility, health, and, especially, community. We believe that, with the right tools and the right support, limitations disappear. A particularly moving moment was seeing Miguel face his first wave with a mixture of nerves and excitement: upon conquering it, his smile perfectly reflected the healing power of surfing.
